Terms and conditions for competition/giveaway participation

1. Organiser
The organisation and management of the draw is the responsibility of Local Green Guide Ltd, with address at Unit 4 Georgiou Business Park, Second Avenue, N18 2PG, and company registration number 09076943

2. Participants 
Participation in this free prize draw is only open to entrants who are a legal resident within the United Kingdom. Participants must be over 18 years of age. Any participants under 18 years of age must have permission from their parents or guardian to enter. There is a limit of one entry per household.
‍
2.1 The organiser's employees and their relatives may not participate in the draw.
2.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. 

3. Draw Mechanics 
To participate in the draw, eligible participants will need to do the following:
1. Follow our Instagram Page
2. Send an email to giveaway@localgreenguide.co.uk with the subject heading as, Virgin Experience Days Giveaway. Provide your details (full name, full address, contact number, email and Instagram account name).

4. Participation Period 
The participation period for the draw begins on the 3rd of March 2025 and ends on the 13th of April 2025 at 23:59 (GMT). Registration entries received outside this period will not be considered for the draw.

4.1 Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. The organiser is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Only fully complete entries that comply with these terms are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by the organiser.  

5. Prize
‍There will be two prizes:
Winner - Historic City Sightseeing Helicopter Tour for Two worth up to £399; Runner Up - Virgin Experience Days £100 Gift Card.
5.1 The prize is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for its cash value.

6. Winner Selection 
‍The winner will be chosen on Monday 14th April 2025 randomly by the organiser using the Rafflys platform(or a similar system) from all participants who have met the draw requirements. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 15th April 2025 at www.localgreenguide.co.uk/prizewinners. and our social media platforms.

6.1 The winner will be presented their prize in person by a member of the Green Guide magazine team. 
6.2 All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us directly.

7. Communication with the Winner and Prize Delivery 
‍The winner(s) must contact the company within a period of 7 days from the date it is announced at www.localgreenguide.co.uk/prizewinners. 
‍
7.1 In the event that such contact is not made within the stipulated period, the draw will be either declared without a winner or redrawn. If a redraw takes place, all participants will be notified of this and when it will occur.

8. Treatment of Personal Data 
The organiser will be collecting information and personal data about participants when they enter the competition in accordance with its privacy policy. The organiser's privacy policy can be found at www.localgreenguide.co.uk/privacy-terms. Alternatively, you can request a copy to be sent digitally by emailing magazine@localgreenguide.co.uk

By participating in the competition, entrants hereby agree to the organiser's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the organiser's privacy policy. The winner agrees to the release of their name and ward.

9. Modifications and Cancellation of the Draw 
The organiser reserves the right to make modifications to these legal terms at any time, provided that they do not harm the participants' rights. Likewise, the organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the draw in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances that make it necessary.

10. Liability 
The organiser is not responsible for any possible damages, harm, or injuries that participants may suffer during the development of the draw or as a consequence of their participation in it. Likewise, the organiser is not responsible for the improper or fraudulent use of the prizes by the winners.
11. General
The organiser does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner.

12. Acceptance of the legal terms
Participation in the draw implies full and unconditional acceptance of these legal terms. Failure to comply with any of the rules or requirements set forth in these legal terms will result in the participant's exclusion from the draw.         
     
12.1 If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
12.2. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
